The Gherdeina Local Heritage Museum is situated right in the center of Ortisei and exhibits valuable collections related to the cultural and natural history of the Gardena Valley.Opening times

December 5 - April 4: Mon–Fri, 10 am - 4 pm
December 26 - January 6: daily, 10 pm – 4 pm

Summer 2026
May and October: Mon-Fri, 10 am - 5 pm
June to September: Mon-Sat, 10 am - 5 pm
Closed: 25.05, 02.06, 15.08
From 1 September to 4 December 2025, the museum will be temporarily closed for the installation of the new exhibition on the history of the toy manufacturer “Sevi”. Reopening with new exhibition on 5 December 2025.
